Vector is the last of the playable Chaotix in Singleplayer mode, and probably the most personality-filled of the cast.
Vector can randomly wave at the player while running, he gives a peace sign when climbing a ledge, and even dances around while idle.
Vector is a long boy, so his spin jump compensates for that by turning him into a donut with spikes.
He also likes music, evident by the headphones he is constantly wearing.

Vector heads over to the island that would become Newtrogic High after it suddenly rises from the ocean,
under the impression that it's sudden appearance was an act of God, and the island was "an island of miracles".
Yes, Vector was religious.

Air Dash
Wall Climb

Vector's air dash is what makes him the #2 best character for me. However, his wall climb is the exact same as Knuckles', meaning it sucks.

• In the Japanese manual, Vector's hobbies are listed as "Music", "Dancing", and "Basketball", and he apparently likes sports drinks.
  Despite his love for music, he apparently dislikes noise.
  He is said to be cheerful and an optimist, but has a stronger sense of camaraderie than the rest of the cast.


• Vector was the earliest of the Chaotix to be created. He was created for the unused "Sonic The Hedgehog Band" concept for the original game.
  Vector also has unused sprites in SegaSonic Bros. He also cameo'd in various Manga.


• Early concept art of Vector shows him in a hat, sunglasses, and a tie.


• Vector also appeared in a 1992 calender alongside Sonic's other band members.


• While playing as Mighty, if you enter the Combi-Catcher and spam the down button, you will always get Vector as your partner.
